This pocket spoon is inspired by artifacts discovered on the Vasa that sank on her maiden voyage in 1628.  The spoon is made from sycamore and has a tooled finish and blue painted handle.  The edges of the handle have been carved away to give the piece a striking appearance.

    Painted: Milk paint - "Flow Blue".
    Sealed: Mixture of beeswax & food-grade linseed (flaxseed) oil.
